Artful Living 2017: Art Show Winning Works

Congratulations to the artists whose works won ribbons and prizes in our art show at Artful Living: Resilience on April 22 at the Sherwood Center in Fairfax City as part ofthe wonderful Fairfax Spotlight on the Arts Festival.

And a HUGE thank you to all the artists who participated in the show. Britepaths received 118 works from artists who live throughout the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area from our Call for Art. We selected 58 pieces, and 55 were on display at Artful Living. Thirty-three of the pieces were purchased by attendees of the event, with 50 percent or more of the sales price of each work going to Britepaths' programs. Several artists donated the entire sales price!

A special thank you to our judges: Jessie Whitten of Falls Church, Trudi Arnold of Fairfax, and Erin Ryan of Fairfax Station.

See our Artful Living page for more information and photos from the event, and if you're an artist, be sure to check back later this year for the Call for Art for our 2018 show!
