Did You Know? More than 30% of all children in Fairfax County Public Schools are eligible to receive free or reduced-price meals.
Each year, thousands of Fairfax County students face various challenges that no child in our country should have to face. Food insecurity, lack of resources for school supplies, and limited access to appropriate school clothing are some of the very real issues that distract students from meeting their highest academic potential. And this year is so much more challenging.
Britepaths is grateful to all of our supporters who helped us raise $25,000 to provide school supply kits to more than 2,500 students FCPS Partner Schools!
With students in our area attending school virtually this fall, we know that lack of internet access may be a major barrier for the families we serve. So we have decided to expand our Back to School drive to try to ease the "digital divide" for as many families as we can. Learn More
Britepaths is seeking our community's support to offer qualifying families Digital Access grants of up to $500 per household, which will be paid directly to their local service provider. The grants will cover six months of internet service so students can be connected for distance learning.
Can You Help Our Kids Bridge the Divide? Any amount you can donate will make a big difference.
