DESCRIPTION:In 2025\, 36% of the Greater Washington area experienced food insecurity. On Saturday\, March 14\, from 10am-3pm\, join Britepaths in partnership with Fairfax County for the March 2026 Stuff the Bus food drive to combat hunger in our community. \nA Fastran bus will be parked at the Giant in Clifton\, Va (5740 Union Mill Rd.) to collect nonperishable food items for Britepaths SNAP Gap Pantry.  Your contributions will benefit local individuals and families through Britepaths’ Food Security Program\, helping to ensure Northern Virginia residents have access to the food they need. \nOur most needed items include: \n\nBoxes of cereal (low sugar)\nCanned fruit\nDry pasta\nRice\nInstant Noodles\nCanned Tuna\nCanned Chicken/Protein\nCanned Soup/Pasta/Chef Boyardee\nGranola Bars\nCooking Oil\nSalt and Pepper\nSugar\nFlour and Cornmeal\nBaking Mixes (Pancake\, Biscuit)\n\nAbout Stuff the Bus:  \nFor nearly 15 years\, Fairfax County’s Stuff the Bus program has been a critical resource for local food pantries and families struggling with food insecurity. In partnership with local grocery stores\, volunteers\, and community organizations\, the program collects non-perishable food items and financial donations at various locations throughout the county. This collaboration helps keep the shelves of local pantries and food providers stocked throughout the year. \n
