Paul and Sinalak thanked us for the Financial Literacy support they are receiving by providing training to our volunteers at a recent Mentoring Roundtable.
A warm welcome to our very first cohort of students in our Healthcare Pre-Apprenticeship Training Pilot Program!
All of us at Britepaths are saddened by the passing of our wonderful Financial Literacy volunteer Todd Snedden, and we offer our heartfelt condolences to his family. Todd began volunteering with us in January 2017, and served enthusiastically as a Financial Mentor, Instructor and Financial Counselor.
Britepaths administers the FEC at South County in partnership with United Way of the National Capital Area and Fairfax County, with support from Citi Community Development.
Britepaths and our community partners are expanding our outreach to share personal finance knowledge!
From a client scraping by to a major donor! After helping her in a somewhat different way from the normal services we provide, she mailed Britepaths a check for $10,000. We have certainly received donations from former clients looking to “pay it forward,” but Ms. T’s story is simply amazing!
