Britepaths is seeking a Temporary Office Administrator to support our team and help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting a mission-driven organization serving Northern Virginia.
Britepaths provides food, financial assistance, financial education, and workforce development services to individuals and families facing economic hardship. Our work helps stabilize households, foster personal empowerment, and support the well-being of children across Northern Virginia.
Position Overview:
The Office Administrator plays a key role in maintaining office operations, supporting staff, and assisting with programs. This includes managing administrative tasks, supervising office volunteers, and providing direct support to our Food and Financial Assistance Programs.
This is a temporary, full-time, in-person position based in our Fairfax office, with required core hours Monday through Friday from 10am to 2pm, along with additional flexible hours.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Spanish (written and verbal)
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer proficiency
- Comfortable communicating professionally via phone and email
- Ability to lift 10-20 lb boxes as needed
- Reliable transportation and internet access for occasional telework (laptop will be provided)
