Emily Barnes is President of Britepaths’ Board and serves on the Executive and Governance Committees. She is an attorney and law professor at the Antonin Scalia School of Law at George Mason University, and provides volunteer legal support for asylum applications to Restoration Immigration Legal Aid in Arlington. Emily became affiliated with Britepaths in late 2019 after learning about its mission and incredible community impact at a fundraising event hosted by Immediate Past President May Shallal. Emily is a Maryland native and has been a Northern Virginia resident since 2005, and lives in Falls Church with her husband and daughter.
