Ed Moore

Ed Moore started with Britepaths as a volunteer in 2010. During monthly sessions, he met with and helped counsel clients of Britepaths who were seeking to improve their financial position. As he got to know more about the organization and mission, he became a donor, a sponsor and eventually joined the Board of Directors in 2017. Ed currently serves as Treasurer. Ed worked for Edelman Financial Services for 30 years prior to his retirement. He is a CFP® professional and serves on the Board of Directors for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards. He is also on the advisory boards of two publicly traded firms. Ed graduated from Virginia Tech with an Engineering degree. He and his wife of 35-plus years reside in Fairfax County and have two adult children.
