May Shallal

Director and Past President

Fairfax County Office of the County Attorney

May Shallal

From my upbringing in Fairfax County, through my studies at George Washington University and Delaware Law School, public interests and causes have enriched my life. A first generation daughter of immigrants, Northern Virginia has always been my home. I practice and have practiced the ideals of public service through my work, in private practice representing immigrants on civil and criminal matters, and since January 2005, working for successful outcomes for children and their families as an Assistant County Attorney for Fairfax County. Being a member of the Board of Britepaths has been an honor and a privilege, as it is a way to provide direct assistance and financial education to Fairfax County families who need it the most.
