Ava Gomez

Ava Gomez joined Britepaths in the Summer of 2026 as a Communications Intern, supporting the organization’s outreach and engagement efforts, with a primary focus on the Back to School Program. In this role, she assists with social media content creation and digital communications to help connect community members, volunteers, and supporters with Britepaths’ programs and services.

Ava is currently pursuing a degree in Global Public Health at the University of Virginia, with a minor in Health, Ethics, and Society. She is passionate about health equity, health communication, and improving community health outcomes. Through her academic studies and community-focused interests, Ava is dedicated to exploring ways to combine her interests in public health and community engagement.

In her free time, Ava enjoys running and hopes to complete a half-marathon and eventually a full marathon.
