Katey Kerns

Katey joined Britepaths in April 2026 as the Workforce Development Manager. She manages career readiness initiatives, including the Network Up mentorship program, and directly engages with job seekers in one-on-one coaching. Through strong community partnerships, volunteer management, and career development programming, Katey holistically prepares individuals for employment success.

Previously, Katey worked for a Business Improvement District in D.C. as well as in the education field. In her most recent role as an Employment Specialist with the Fairfax County CSB and ServiceSource, she saw the barriers that job seekers face and the life-changing impact employment can have. She is committed to offering caring support that promotes career development and empowers people.

Katey earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mary Washington and currently lives in Alexandria, Virginia, where she enjoys spending time exploring and in nature.
