Help us prepare The Secret Garden at Britepaths for the holidays!

The Secret Garden is our in-office book nook that provides free books to children from client families, promoting a lifelong love of reading and increasing access to literacy resources in our community. As part of our Holiday Program preparations, we are looking for volunteers to help sort and organize donated books, ensuring our shelves are stocked with titles that are both in good condition and in high demand.

  • Sorting and shelving books by age group and language
  • Highlighting popular and seasonal titles
  • Setting aside gently used or duplicate books for future events

This opportunity is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with books, organizing, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for families visiting our office. Teens are welcome to volunteer, and youth under 14 must volunteer with an adult. If you cannot stay for the entire shift, please indicate your available time in the Comments section when you register.
