FAIRFAX, VA (June 30, 2015) – Fairfax-based charity Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) sought volunteers from the community to donate funds, backpacks and calculators to assist needy children who attend schools in the Fairfax County area as part of its 2015 Collect for Kids Back to School Program.
Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) is proud to announce that Naomi Project Founder Peggy Ferguson was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for the 2015 Fairfax County Volunteer Service Awards. She was presented the award at a ceremony hosted by Volunteer Fairfax on Friday, April 24, 2015, in recognition of her founding of the Project and her 19 years of leadership of the Project in a completely volunteer capacity.
Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) invoved the public to attend its May 1, 2015 Artful Living event in Fairfax City.
In March 2015, Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) announced its partnership with Western Fairfax Christian Ministries, Ox Hill Baptist Church and Fairfax County’s Neighborhood and Community Services to expand its Free Financial Counseling Clinics to Western Fairfax.
On January 22, 2015, Britepaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) held a celebration of its partnership with Naomi Project of Northern Virginia.
