David Joyner

David joined Britepaths in February of 2024 as the Community Development Manager. Passionate about building stronger and more equitable communities for all, he is responsible for cultivating, managing, and stewarding a diverse range of resources, including Britepaths’ donors, civic and social partnerships, and corporate volunteers.

Prior to joining Britepaths, David served as a Special Education Teaching Assistant in Winchester Public Schools, where he helped students to manage behaviors to fully integrate into a classroom setting and achieve social and educational goals. Earlier in his career, he worked in the music industry and event space, creating pop-up concerts to support emerging artists and promote local businesses, venues, and attractions.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music from Christopher Newport University, and Master of Arts in Arts Management from Bath Spa University in Bath, UK.
