Britepaths Tiny Beer Fest 2024 Volunteer, June 9th

Would you like to be a community ambassador for Britepaths while helping raise awareness and funds for our programs? Volunteer with Britepaths at High Side’s Tiny Beer Fest 2024! Britepaths is seeking volunteers to help staff a table at Tiny Beer Fest 2024. This is an outdoor event hosted by High Side, featuring 45+ craft beers, ciders & more, Asian street food, music, a Dad Joke contest, and more. Additionally, 10% of the proceed will be donated to Britepaths. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, but the volunteer will receive a staff badge for the event which allows them to get a meal and sample some of the beverages after the event is done. The festival will be held at High Side, 4009 Chain Bridge Road Fairfax, VA 22030.

Position Description: This is an unpaid, part-time opportunity, which requires a minimum of 4 hours of work on Sunday, June 9th, 2023, from 12pm to 4pm. Volunteers must be 21 or older and able to provide their own transportation to the event. The volunteer will help answer questions about Britepaths and raise funds to support our programs. 

Responsibilities:

• Must learn about Britepaths’ services and volunteer opportunities; information will be provided
• Assist in managing the Britepaths table
• Assist in setting up the information booth tent, table, and signs. All items will be stored on-site at the designated location.
• Provide general customer services, such as answering questions about Britepaths and helping customers play the game offered at the table.

Requirements:

• Friendly and outgoing.
• Strong customer service skills and experience.
• Ability to work in an environment requiring flexibility, responsiveness, and multi-tasking.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
