Britepaths is hosting a volunteer project in partnership with Volunteer Fairfax’s VolunteerFest on October 21, 2023.

Volunteers will help Britepaths stock our Emergency Pantry by asking Walmart Fairfax shoppers to donate greatly needed household cleaning and personal hygiene products, along with Walmart gift cards.

Project Date/Time: Saturday, October 21, 2023; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. (4 hours)
Project Start Location: Walmart Fairfax, 11181 Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA 22030

Project Details: From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers will offer shoppers flyers that list the requested donations and collect the donations. At 1 p.m., volunteers will pack up the donations into their vehicles and bring them to Britepaths’ office nearby, unload the donations and bring them up to Britepaths’ pantry (3959 Pender Drive, Suite 200, Fairfax 22030). At least three licensed drivers who are able to drive donations to Britepaths’ office are needed for this project. Youth 12 and older are welcome to volunteer with a licensed driver.
