Uniting to Help ‘Those Needing It the Most’.
Fairfax Connection published an article covering the opening of Junior League of Northern Virginia‘s Period Pantry at Britepaths, located at our Fairfax headquarters. The article documents the April 25 ribbon-cutting and describes the pantry’s purpose: to provide essential hygiene and menstrual products not covered by SNAP benefits.
The article speaks on Britepaths’ history and evolution from an emergency shelter to a nonprofit offering wraparound support services, including financial empowerment, workforce development, and youth and family programs. The article also notes partnerships with the JLNV and BRAWS (Bringing Resources to Aid Women’s Shelters), as well as remarks from Britepaths Executive Director Abra Kurt and local elected officials.
