Data Architect

Gwendyl Harter

Gwendyl began volunteering with Britepaths in 2009, joining Britepaths as an employee in 2015. She began as the Holiday Program Data Administrator and now serves as the Data Architect. Gwen is dedicated to working with program managers and the executive team to measure program effectiveness and impact.

Gwen came to Britepaths after 12 years in the finance sector, where she worked as a software developer and project team lead. She moved to the nonprofit sector to directly engage with and support Fairfax County families. Gwen’s ongoing work with the World Bank’s Measure4Change group at the Urban Institute provides new ways for Britepaths to evaluate our performance within the community through our data.

Gwen enjoys working with the community as a robotics mentor for a local high school and as a Virginia Medical Reserve Corp volunteer. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
