Stuff the Bus Food Drive for Britepaths
We are looking for volunteers to help support the food drive. To volunteer, visit: britepaths.org/volunteer-opp/stuff-the-bus-food-drive/.
According to the Capital Area Food Bank Survey, 27% of Fairfax County residents are estimated to be food insecure. Join Britepaths in partnership with Fairfax County for the winter Stuff the Bus, a post-holiday food drive to combat hunger in our community.
A Fastran bus will be parked at the Walmart Supercenter in Fairfax to collect nonperishable food items and grocery gift card donations for Britepaths’ Pantry. Your contributions will directly benefit families of students at Fairfax County Public Schools through Britepaths’ Food4Thought Program, helping to ensure students and families have the food they need.
Most Needed Items:
- Macaroni and cheese (cup to just add water)
- Cereal (non-sugary)
- Shelf-stable milk
- Peanut butter and jelly
- Fruit cups (no added syrup)
- Granola bars
- Juice boxes

- Dried rice, beans, lentils, and pasta

About Stuff the Bus:
Stuff the Bus began in 2011 to address the critical need for restocking local pantries after the holidays. Now in its 15th year, this collaborative program—led by Fairfax County Government and local nonprofits—has collected over 240 tons of food, providing vital support to households experiencing food insecurity in Fairfax County.
Make a difference by stopping by with your donations on February 15. Together, we can fight hunger in our community!
