Financial Programs Manager
Diana Ortega has been the Financial Programs Manager at Britepaths since September 2021. She manages the Financial Assistance program, which provides clients with a one-time grant to help with rent, utilities, medical bills or auto repairs. She also assists with check writing, Fairfax County grant reporting, and financial and HR administrative tasks. Prior to joining the Britepaths team, she taught 5th-7th grade and worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for Manassas City Public Schools. She also worked at INTO George Mason University, where she supported the academic leadership team, faculty, and staff. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in history from George Mason University and currently lives in the Manassas area with her family. During her free time, she enjoys reading, exploring Northern Virginia with her family, and watching a good Korean or Spanish drama.
