Christina Garris
Programs Director
Christina Garris is the Programs Director for Britepaths, and she has been with the organization since 2007. She is responsible for leading and managing the comprehensive array of services and programs. Christina collaborates with farmers markets in Fairfax County to issue vouchers to families in need to acquire fresh produce. She also runs a SNAP access program at the Annandale Farmers Market. She partners with Fairfax County Public Schools to provide Food4Thought weekend food assistance packs for food support to students in need. She chaired the Fairfax Food Council (FFC) from 2018 to 2020; and was co-leader of the Food Provider Network (2013-2015), a coordinating organization for all food pantries across Fairfax County. She currently participates in the Employment Solutions Team Meeting, comprised of regional government, non-profit, and employment case managers. Christina is inspired daily by her husband, their three daughters, and sons in-law. She likes to travel, practice yoga, and spend time with her granddaughters in her free time.
